“Usual Suspects” line- up for contest.
Participants (reading program, family program and preschool storytime) gathered weekly coded clues, solved them, followed the directions of the clue to obtain a puzzle piece from different locations around Blackfoot, put the puzzle pieces together which made an invitation to the July 25th Get a Clue Day activity at the Blackfoot Municipal Pool.
A shelter (from the hot summer sun) was set up at the entrance to the pool letting everyone know they had followed the clues “to the right place”. Families could swim free complements of the library and city.
A “Super Sleuth Snack Sack” was provided for everyone who attended. Over 200 enjoyed an afternoon at the pool. This was the finale of our Summer Reading Program during which over 103,000 minutes were spent reading.
